There are three types of glass sink bowls.  The first is a glass vessel sink that sits on top of a counter top and is often referred to as a vessel glass sink or just glass sink bowl.  The second style of glass sink, is a glass sink that sits flush with the counter top and is referred to as a drop-in or over mount style glass sink.
